A. It is any medical or mental condition existing prior to your trip and/ or causing pain or physical distress or severely restricting your normal mobility. Please see the policy wording for a full definition.
Q. Does the policy exclude my pre-existing medical conditions?
A. The policy excludes pre-existing medical conditions which are known to you, concerning the health of you, your relatives, your travelling companions or anyone whose ill health would force you to cancel or cut short your trip. This means we will not pay any claim directly or indirectly related to any pre-existing medical condition. You will still have cover for other unrelated conditions.
You may still purchase a policy if one of the persons listed above has a pre-existing condition, but there will be no cover under the Cancellation or Curtailment or Emergency Medical & Other Expenses sections of your policy for any claims relating to the pre-existing medical condition.
